Two histology labs are available in the DBMR. The labs are equipped to embed tissues in paraffin, and to prepare cryo- and paraffin-sections.
- Location of the labs:
MEM-building, Murtenstrasse 35, Lab E802, rooms E814 and B815a.
In addition, sections of tissues embedded in plastic (MMA) can be prepared in lab E802.
- The labs are accessable to all members of the DBMR. Users from groups outside the DBMR are welcome, if time and space permit.
- The use of the equipment is free of charge, but it is expected that users provide their own disposables (glass slides, disposable blades, etc).
