Conradi Lab

The Conradi Lab has a translational research focus on the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying gastrointestinal malignancies, particularly colorectal cancer, colorectal liver metastases, and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. The overarching goal is to identify predictive biomarkers and novel therapeutic targets that support precision treatment strategies for gastrointestinal cancers.

The group uses patient-derived organoids, xenografts, experimental tumor models, and molecular profiling approaches. A major focus is tumor vasculature, including angiogenesis and how interactions between tumor cells and the microenvironment regulate metastatic growth and therapeutic resistance.

Her research also investigates metabolic plasticity in gastrointestinal cancers and the interplay between tumor metabolism, epigenetic regulation, and three-dimensional chromatin organization. These studies aim to identify mechanisms that enable tumor adaptation and reveal therapeutically actionable vulnerabilities.
