Leica DMI4000 B

Multipurpose Fluorescence System

The Leica DMI4000 B automated inverted research microscope is ideal for scanning (short-term) live and fixed cell and tissue cultures. It is equipped with a colour camera for immunohistochemistry and a highly sensitive black and white camera for fluorescent imaging. Contrast techniques are brightfield, darkfield, phase, modulation, and differential interference. The device is equipped with four different filter combinations suitable for a broad range of different fluorochromes (DAPI, GFP, Cy3, Cy5, etc.). Available objectives range in magnification from 2.5x to 63x, some being optimized for high-resolution fluorescence imaging.
