Prize for Best DBMR Publication

 

The Prize for Best DBMR Publication recognizes an outstanding publication led by an investigator from the DBMR. The awardee must have listed the DBMR as an affiliation and be the first author of the paper. Master students, PhD students, and postdoctoral researchers who are listed as first author are strongly encouraged to apply. The prize amounts to CHF 2'000 (before taxes) to be freely used by the awardee.

Eligibility:

To be considered for the prize:

  • the applicant is the first author of the paper
  • the applicant is a young researcher (master student, PhD student, MD-PhD student, postdoctoral researcher)
  • the DBMR is listed as an affiliation of the first author
  • the paper must have been published during the 2023 calendar year
  • the paper must have been peer-reviewed
  • on papers with multiple first authors, only one author is eligible, and only one paper per author may be submitted.

The call for submissions for the Prize for Best DBMR Publication 2023 is now closed.

Selection Process

The jury will review all complete nominations based on the merit, quality and impact of the publication.  Their decision is final and cannot be appealed.

Award Announcement

The winner will be announced at the Day of BioMedical Research (July 3 2024).
