Live Cell Imaging (LCI)

Fees and Conditions

The LCI Core Facility of the DBMR can be accessed around the clock by badge access. Using the facility out of the normal working hours is therefore possible upon agreement with the Facility Head (This applies in particular to weekend work at the LSM).

Booking is mandatory for all microscopes, the sterile hood and the working stations. Specific fees are in accordance with the MIC (http://www.mic.unibe.ch/files/4_MIC_fees_July_2017.pdf)

*Notes:

  • Special packages are valid from January to December of the current year.
  • For long term (live) experiments special rates can be arranged with the Facility Head
  • Prices include support for small issues.
  • Time demanding support will be charged CHF 50.- per hour.
  • Prices do not include VAT and apply to all members of the University of Bern.
  • The use of any LCI’s device is under the regulations of the DBMR
  • Users from external institutions may be subject to additional fees.
